Pregnancy preparations, women's health, and care options

Healthy Pregnancy Care 28 weeks

1) Your baby has breathing movements and is gaining about 1 ounce each day!

2) You may experience heartburn and leg cramps.  Review your prenatal book on how to treat these or review the list of over the counter remedies listed in this blog.

3) Pre-register at the hospital.  Forms are at your clinic and on the website.

4) Be aware of our baby’s normal movements.  Start “kick counts”.  Contact your provider if you suddenly notice less movement.

5) Continue to be aware of preterm labor symptoms.

6) Review info on circumcision for a male infant.  This is considered an elective procedure and may not be covered by your insurance.

7) Check on CPR classes for infants and children.  There are classes at the hospital and with the American Heart Association.
