Pregnancy preparations, women's health, and care options

Healthy Pregnancy Care 10-12 weeks

1)  Your baby has grown to 3 inches long, blood and bones are developing.  Early breathing has started and the baby’s first movements begin.

2)  Continue to take your vitamins.  It sometimes is best tolerated at bedtime to avoid nausea.

3)  As your center of gravity and weight change remember to use good body mechanics when changing positions and/or lifting.  Keep your back straight and use your legs for support when lifting instead of bending over.  Maintain good posture to prevent straining your muscles.

4)  Continue to read your prenatal book and come to your appointment with questions.
