Lori Geller, CNM
I have been a midwife for 4 years
I’ve had a passion for caring for women and infants since I can remember. My first exposure to helping new moms/babies was as a volunteer in postpartum care at the age of 15. I continued my path to becoming a midwife by pursuing a Spanish degree at the College of St. Benedict so I could communicate with a more diverse population. My nursing and midwifery degrees were completed at the University of Minnesota.
Besides loving to educate women on birth control, pregnancy planning and breastfeeding, my favorite part of my job is getting to know my “patients” so well that we laugh/cry so hard we forget we are in an appointment.
Outside of work I love spending time outside with my 3 year old twins and husband, cooking and entertaining.
Something people don’t know about me is…..I am a crazy couponer!
A favorite saying of mine is: Give your children enough to do something, not enough to do nothing.
